Details of Mesotherapy
CELLULITE: Mesotherapy Cellulysis™
More than 90 percent of women are affected by cellulite. This
condition can be disfiguring and affects a person's overall sense of
well being. One often reads that there is no cure for cellulite.
This is untrue: Mesotherapy has been a safe and successful cellulite
treatment in many European and South American countries for years.
There are numerous causes of cellulite, including: 1. Poor
circulation 2. Defective connective tissue 3. Enlarged fat
cells 4. Poor diet and nutrition habits
There are four stages of cellulite, each of which may require a
different treatment: Stage 0: No visible cellulite, even
when skin is pinched. Stage 1: No visible cellulite when
standing or lying down, however cellulite can be seen when skin is
pinched. Stage 2: Visible cellulite when standing, but not
when lying down. Stage 3: Visible cellulite when standing
and lying down.
The doctor selects creates a mesotherapy formula based on the
patient's grade of cellulite. During treatment, the formula is
injected into the cellulite at one inch intervals along the affected
area. The process of correcting cellulite requires approximately 10
to 15 sessions.
AGING SKIN: Mesotherapy Mesolift
Mesotherapy is a safe and natural alternative to traditional
cosmetic procedures particularly when recovery time and danger of
side effects are of concern. The Mesolift process delivers vitamins,
minerals and amino acids directly into the skin to nourish,
rejuvenate, promote collagen and elastin production and stimulate
metabolism. This is important because as skin ages, circulation
decreases. The resulting decrease in the flow of oxygen and
nutrients makes it more difficult for the body to flush out toxic
metabolic products which facilitates premature aging and an ashen
appearance to the skin with no affect.
Patients commonly describe their skin as looking rested, radiant,
glowing, and firmer after a treatment. Mesotherapy is an excellent
addition to any arsenal of anti-aging strategies, botox, laser
resurfacing, peels, antioxidants, topical creams, and facelifts and
is also a highly effective rejuvenating treatment on its own.
The Mesolift procedure can also be used to tone and tighten
sagging skin on the neck, legs, abdomen, arms and hands. In Europe,
where mesotherapy is common and has been used extensively for years,
women often begin treatments in their thirties. However mesotherapy
is valuable during all phases of a woman's life, and can be used for
prevention as well as intervention and maintenance.
WEIGHT LOSS AND BODY
CONTOURING: MesotherapyThinJection™
ThinJection™ is a mesotherapy
procedure used for weight loss and body sculpting to reduce and
contour specific undesired pockets of fat. The ThinJection™ method targets receptors on the fat
cells surface which produce lipogenesis (fat production) and
lipolysis (fat breakdown). Receptors that break down fat are known
as beta receptors, and those that create fat are known as alpha
receptors. Above the waist, the number of alpha to beta receptors is
generally an equal 1:1 ratio in both women and men. However below
the waist, women have approximately 6 to 8 alpha receptors for every
beta. This is the reason why it is difficult for women to lose
weight in this area. Alpha receptors produce fat when stimulated by
carbohydrates, fat ingestion, amino acids, hormones and alcohol.
A medical history and physical examination is required preceding
treatment. Based on individual requirements, the doctor will select
a formula consisting of several medications which block the alpha
receptors and stimulate the beta receptors on fat cells. The formula
is injected into the skin, where it will slowly diffuse into the fat
and produce fat breakdown. The number of required treatments will
vary.
